Backed by $14 million in pre-Series A funding, CARD91, founded in 2020 by Ajay Pandey and Vineet Saxena, boasts a team of experienced technopreneurs and bankers.\n\nAbout the Role\nAs the QA Engineer at CARD91, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services through effective leadership of the Quality Assurance team. You will develop and execute quality assurance strategies, oversee testing processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of excellence in all aspects of the product lifecycle. Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that all CARD91 products meet the highest levels of quality, performance, and security.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop and Implement QA Strategies:\nDesign and oversee the implementation of comprehensive QA strategies, ensuring alignment with CARD91's business objectives and product requirements. Establish best practices to enhance product quality across all stages of development.\nLead the QA Team:\nManage, mentor, and motivate a team of QA professionals, providing guidance on QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the QA team.\nTest Planning and Execution:\nCoordinate the development and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts, ensuring that testing covers all functional, regression, integration, and security requirements. Ensure all features are thoroughly tested before release.\nCollaboration with Cross-functional Teams:\nWork closely with Product, Development, and Operations teams to define quality goals, clarify requirements, and ensure a shared understanding of expectations. Facilitate communication across teams to address issues and prioritize deliverables.\nMonitor and Report Quality Metrics:\nTrack and analyze quality metrics such as defect rates, testing progress, and performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to improve testing processes and product quality.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify areas for process optimization and recommend tools or methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve testing effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and implement new best practices and technologies.\nRisk Management and Issue Resolution:\nProactively identify and address potential risks in the product development lifecycle. Lead efforts to resolve defects and issues that impact quality, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.\nEnsure Compliance with Standards:\nEnsure that all products adhere to internal and external quality standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols. Implement audits to verify compliance with industry best practices.\nDrive Automation Initiatives:\nLead the efforts to integrate test automation tools and frameworks to improve the efficiency and coverage of testing. Oversee the development of automated test scripts and ensure their successful integration into the CI/CD pipeline.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\n3-5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance. Experience in the payments, financial technology, or SaaS industry is a plus.\nStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing, and automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, JMeter, Postman). Familiarity with Java, Python, Mysql, Postman, Swagger, Agile methodology, Scrum, and DevOps practices is essential.\nProven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
