The Security Officer will maintain a visible presence on the property, monitor access, conduct routine patrols, and respond to incidents in a courteous and timely manner. This role plays a key part in creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):\nSupervises the security guard on duty\nResponsible for ensuring reports and inspections are completed and sent to the CM\nthe Patrol the property regularly to deter unauthorized activity and ensure resident safety\nMonitor building access, cameras, and security systems\nEnforce community policies and report violations as needed\nRespond to emergencies, safety concerns, and resident requests for assistance\nComplete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs\nProvide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and visitors\nCommunicate effectively with property management and local authorities when necessary\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nPrior security or customer service experience preferred\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to remain calm and professional in emergency situations\nBasic computer skills for reporting and documentation\nAbility to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods\nWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
