Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.\nJob Summary\nThe role of the Technician I, Product Test & Calibration is to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product, and perform repairs on equipment in compliance to finished product specifications. Minimize scrap generation and promote workplace safety. Provide process information to management so production equipment may be optimized and/or corrected. Facilitate workflow and ensure production is maintained.\nShift Details\n7:00 am to 3:00 pm - Monday through Friday\nResponsibilities\nSets up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications\nMonitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.\nDiagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction arrange or complete repairs.\nPerforms preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.\nCompletes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines.\nInterprets data and confer with management to determine required standards.\nSelects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various inspections per required characteristics.\nTransports hazardous waste to required areas.
