They also record and maintain accurate inventory records for either raw material and or finished goods. Material Handling uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.\nHours: Shifts will run on a 2 week basis from 7am to 7pm for days then from 7pm to 7am, for the night shift\nLocation: Gananoque, Ont\nYour Contributions to the Organization will be:\nTo performs visual inspections of incoming and outgoing materials for visible damages\nUses PIT to move material on a timely basis consistent with production requirements\nRecord movement of materials in ERP system\nMaintain housekeeping, stage raw and or finish goods in inventory location\nApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks\nReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area\nMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications (if previously acquired)\nWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution\nWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods\nAdheres to all quality guidelines\nWorks under moderate degree of supervision\nWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor\nRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor\nThis Job might be for you if you have: \n1-2 years of related experience, preferred\nForklift experience (an asset)\nHigh School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred\nOur employees all benefit from:\nFull dental and health benefits including life insurance from day 1\nPension plan with employer matching after 3 months of employment\nIncentive plan participation\nPaid vacation and sick days\nReferral bonus program\nTuition reimbursement\nIn-house training on safety measures, tasks and equipment\nSalary: 21$\nBonus eligible: Yes\nIf Yes: This role is eligible for a performance-based annual bonus.
