We are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to work as needed during facility hours. The facility is open Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.\nThe Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy helps the Pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. This includes the preparation of and filling of prescriptions, taking pharmacy inventory and processing product returns. The Technician II, Health Systems Pharmacy ensures that all orders are reviewed by a registered pharmacist and records all activity in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. This job frequently communicates with customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment of all orders.\nResponsibilities\nAssists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.\nMaintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.\nInputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system.\nTakes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.\nCommunicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.\nMaintains knowledge of and abides by all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school degree or equivalent preferred.\nNevada State Pharmacy Technician license required.\nNational pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) required.\nIn-patient hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred.\nIV experience preferred.\nAbility to work well in a team.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong customer service skills.\nComfortable performing repetitive motions/tasks.\nAbility to manage several tasks at the same time; ability to focus on tasks; ability to evaluate operating conditions; ability to exercise sound judgment.\nDemonstrated ability to use technology such as computers, smart phones and tablets.\nFlexibility with schedule.\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.\nMay Require Vendor Credentialing.\nWhat is expected of you and others at this level\nApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.\nReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area.\nMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.\nWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution.\nWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.\nAdheres to all quality guidelines.\nWorks under moderate degree of supervision.\nWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor.\nRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor.\nAnticipated hourly range: $19.70 per hour - $25.29 per hour.\nBonus eligible: No\nBenefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws.\nApplication window anticipated to close: 10/18/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.\nThe hourly range listed is an estimate.
