This role will focus on designing intuitive, efficient, and engaging experiences across several products used by healthcare professionals in fast-paced clinical environments.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong UX fundamentals with excellent visual design skills and understands how to translate complex workflows into simple, user-centered experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design solutions that improve operational efficiency and support critical healthcare workflows.\nThis position offers hybrid work flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to products that make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery worldwide.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign user-centered experiences for a hospital inventory management platform across different products that align with product and business objectives.\n\nCreate user journeys, flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.\n\nUnderstand and simplify complex healthcare and inventory management workflows through thoughtful design.\n\nCollaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.\n\nParticipate in user research and design validation activities.\n\nContribute to and maintain design systems, UI libraries, and design standards.\n\nEnsure designs follow usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and best-practice interaction patterns.\n\nPresent design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.\n\nStay current with UX/UI trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, or a related field.\n\nApproximately 2-4 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, product design, or a related role.\n\nStrong understanding of UX principles, including:\nUser-centered design\n\nInformation architecture\n\nUser flows and journey mapping\n\nUsability best practices\n\nAccessibility fundamentals\n\nDesigning digital products for web and mobile platforms\n\nProficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design and prototyping tools.\n\nStrong visual design skills, including typography, layout, spacing, color systems, and component-based design.\n\nAbility to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interface designs.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nFluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the role requires close collaboration with international teams and stakeholders\n\nA portfolio demonstrating UX methodology, design thinking, and user interface design expertise\n\nKey Competencies\nUser-centered thinking\n\nVisual design excellence\n\nAttention to detail\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\n\nEffective communication and presentation skills\n\nCollaboration and teamwork\n\nTime management and organization\n\nAdaptability and continuous learning\n\nCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.\nCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
