Success requires intellectual curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to use emerging technologies, including AI-enabled analytics, to improve how insights are developed and delivered.\nThis position is an 8-month contract role and a hybrid model with two days reporting to our head office in Vaughan, Ontario.\nFor more information on what it is like to work for us, please watch our Cardinal Health - Wings\nYour Contributions to the Organization will be:\nPartner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, gather requirements, and translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions\nOwn the design, development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions that support defined business outcomes and trusted decision-making\nDevelop intuitive dashboards, scorecards, and governed self-service analytics experiences using platforms such as Looker or Tableau, with appropriate performance, usability, and adoption considerations\nWrite advanced SQL to explore, validate, and analyze large data sets from multiple enterprise sources, and partner with Data Engineering when reusable transformations or modeled data assets are required\nLead requirements and discovery workshops with cross-functional teams to define business questions, users, success metrics, data needs, scope, and acceptance criteria for analytical solutions\nApply data storytelling best practices to communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences\nIdentify opportunities to improve business performance through data analysis, trend identification, root cause analysis, and process optimization\nUse AI-enabled and emerging analytics tools to automate workflows, accelerate insight generation, and improve development efficiency\nMonitor analytics, process mining, and AI trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement\nThis Job might be for you if:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, preferred\n5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related analytical roles, preferred\nAdvanced SQL development experience with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and support enterprise reporting solutions\nExtensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visual analytics solutions using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms\nStrong understanding of dashboard design, user experience, advanced filtering, drill-down capabilities, and self-service analytics\nExperience working with cloud-based analytical platforms such as Google BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable technologies\nStrong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and analytical data structures\nExceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels\nDemonstrated ability to lead requirements sessions, align diverse stakeholders, and present recommendations to leadership\nAbility to facilitate discussions, respectfully challenge assumptions, and guide teams toward effective solutions\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities\nExperience using AI-assisted development and prompt engineering to improve productivity and accelerate delivery\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Looker and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)\nExperience working with SAP data structures and enterprise business processes\nExperience with process mining platforms such as Celonis or similar solutions\nKnowledge of machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, and emerging analytics technologies\nExperience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, supply chain, or commercial analytics environments\nExperience mentoring analysts or leading analytical workstreams\nAnticipated pay range: $81,300 - $119,130\nBonus: No\nPosition currently vacant: Yes\nThe salary range listed is an estimate.
