Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred\nExperience troubleshooting complex application, system, and integration issues\nPharmacy management system experience required\nGuardian Rx experience a plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n What is expected of you and others at this level\nPharmacy management system experience required, Guardian Rx experience a plus\nCitrix experience\nAbility to communicate business impact during pharmacy outages and continually keep the users informed.\nProvide production support for pharmacy applications and critical pharmacy workflows.\nMonitor application health, interfaces, Windows services, scheduled processes, queues, databases, and integrations.\nTroubleshoot incidents affecting prescription processing, claims, eligibility, prior authorization, printing, and related pharmacy operations.\nPerform initial triage and determine whether failures are related to the application, SQL/database, server, network, configuration, or external vendor.\nRestore service using approved SOP’s while capturing evidence needed for root-cause analysis.\nEscalate issues to development, infrastructure, database, network, security, or vendor teams with sufficient diagnostic information.\nParticipate in incident/problem management and drive recurring issues toward permanent resolution.\nMaintain support documentation, operational procedures, known-error documentation, and troubleshooting runbooks.\nStrong production incident troubleshooting.\nSQL Server fundamentals and database connectivity troubleshooting.\nApplication/interface log analysis.\nExperience working with highly available/failover environments is beneficial.\nEscalation when SLAs or patient/pharmacy operations are at risk by opening an SRT (Service Restoration Team) call.\nCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
