Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.\nWhat Manufacturing Management contributes to Cardinal Health \nManufacturing is responsible for cost of productionincluding process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. \nManufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function. \nJob Summary\nThe Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of employees, coordinating work assignments to meet production schedules, evaluating department and individual performance, and ensures compliance with specific regulations and policies.\nResponsibilities\nDirects the day-to-day activities of the production operation, Coordinates and supervises the daily production activities, daily scheduling for work force and set priorities to team to ensure task completion \nActively builds relationships across functions/businesses that bring value to the company, encouraging the participation and perspectives of all team members, regardless of background; mentors and empowers others to achieve success \nHas in-depth knowledge of work processes and tools, maintaining 6S company standards and managing safety programs. \nDemonstrated ability to achieve safety, quality, and productivity metrics/goal \nEnsures that accurate attendance/PTO records and scheduling are maintained \nCompletes detailed accurate performance evaluations of all direct reports \nMaintains general responsibility for disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; insures a productive work climate in the production operation \nWork on special projects as defined per business for each area of operation. \nApplies expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area \nAligns individual goals for self and others with work area/functional goals \nPerform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred\n2+ years’ experience in related field, preferred\nUnderstanding of FDA regulations for medical device manufacturing, GMPs, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing tools, preferred\nProficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs\nPrior experience managing and leading a team, with a strong ability to motivate, coach, develop others, and collaborate effectively\nAbility to plan, organize, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nA self-starter willing to initiate beneficial projects for the site\nCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
