Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.\nShift: Monday - Thursday 12:00pm noon - 10:00pm (or task completed)\nWhat Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health\nWarehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse including inbound and outbound\nReceive large boxes on warehouse dock, scan product with RF scanner, and input product information into computer\nBreak down cases of product and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse\nUtilize voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart\nPalletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment\nPack small items in boxes\nDrive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider\nWhat is expected of you and others at this level\nApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks\nReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area\nMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications\nWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution\nWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods\nAdheres to all quality guidelines\nWorks under moderate degree of supervision\nWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor\nRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor\nQualifications\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds\nComfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly\nAbility to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift\nAbility to follow direction and change priorities\nGood verbal and written communication skills \nHigh School Diploma/GED preferred\n1-2 years experience\nProficient in Microsoft office preferred\nMust be flexible to work overtime as needed. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements. \nCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
