The IT Solutions Developer is adept at troubleshooting technical issues as well as contributing to the design and implementation of software applications that enhance the IT infrastructure.\nEssential Functions\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals as well as troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.\nMonitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.\nDocument IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing, and collaborate with other IT Team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.\nProvide updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voice mail, e-mail or in-person communication.\nProvide technical support to employees using phone, email, chat, and the ticketing system; provides in-person and remote support.\nAssist in the implementation/installation, maintenance/troubleshooting, and licensing of software. \nTroubleshoot & maintain IT infrastructure equipment including computers/laptops, phones, printers, conference rooms, servers, and network devices. \nCreate and support user account and group membership setups in Active Directory.\nInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot ethernet and fiber optic cables.\nEvaluate, prioritize, and resolve IT problems and requests; escalate when appropriate.\nTrack and maintain inventory and distribution records for all hardware and components.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area by following established guidelines.\nSafely operate scissor lifts to run network lines and mount equipment. \nDevelop, test, and maintain software applications to meet organizational needs.\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages (e.g., VB.NET, C#, PowerShell, HTML)\nIdentify and resolve software bugs to ensure optimal performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to enhance software functionality.\nParticipate in the design and planning of new software features and solutions.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and software usage.\nWrite and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.\nCompetencies\nTechnical Capacity.\nThoroughness.\nTime Management.\nProficient Communication.\nProficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., VB.NET, C#, PowerShell, HTML)\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma\nTwo to three years of relevant experience\nPreferred Education and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in technical support role.\n2+ years of experience in software development.\nExperience with network management and security practices is a plus.\nKnowledge of automation tools and scripting is preferred.\nPrevious experience in a hybrid IT support and development role is advantageous.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.\nEligibility Qualifications\nExperience with MS 365, SharePoint, and other MS applications.\nAbility to work with a sense of urgency in a team-oriented environment.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity, including antivirus, back-up, and data recovery solutions.\nExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.\nKnowledge of computer and network (switches, routers, etc.) hardware.\nGood interpersonal and communication skills.\nAdaptability to stay current with evolving technologies.\nBenefits\n\nBenefits for full-time employees include Paid Time Off, medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401k matching, Employee Referral Program, and Employee Assistance Program\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, - 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours per week.
