(Candidate must be strong in these areas.)\nObservation of machinery in operation and listening to sounds to locate the cause of trouble.\nDismantling machinery to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand-tools, and power tools.\nMaking periodic inspections of units and performing preventative maintenance, such as lubricating and cleaning parts.\nRepairing or replacing defective parts, using hand-tools and power tools.\nInspection of electrical wiring, switches and controls for safe operating conditions, grounding and adjustment, following regulations and repair manuals.\nDisassembles, adjusts, aligns and calibrates gages and meters.\nInstalls, dismantles, and moves machines, conveyors, and other equipment.\nLight facilities maintenance as need.\nCompetencies\nTechnical Capacity\nEthical Conduct\nCommunication Proficiency\nResults Driven\nInitiative\nSafety Oriented\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.\nFour or more years of manufacturing experience; strong CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nAn AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.\nVacuum furnace, carpentry and 3-phase electrical experience.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\n This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.
