In this role, you will be involved in hardware board design, validation, testing, and production support while working across a wide range of technologies including analog, digital, audio, RF, and optical systems.\nYou will collaborate closely with Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure reliable and efficient testing solutions throughout the product lifecycle.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop ATE (Automated Test Equipment) hardware boards and test systems.\nIntegrate and validate multidisciplinary technologies including analog, digital, audio, RF, optics, and power circuits.\nWork with microcontrollers and embedded hardware platforms.\nDevelop test specifications, test methodologies, and validation procedures.\nSupport production activities, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test processes.\nPerform hardware bring-up, debugging, and characterization using lab equipment.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development and production stages.\nOperate effectively in an AI-driven engineering environment.\nRequirements\nB.Sc. in Electronics Engineering.\n2+ years of hands-on experience in hardware and ATE design.\nExperience with at least one of the following microcontrollers: STM32 or PIC.\nExperience with board design using OrCAD Capture.\nExperience with layout design using Presto or Allegro.\nHands-on experience with analog, digital, power, audio, A/D and D/A, acoustics, optics, and RF technologies.\nProficiency with lab instruments including DVM, power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and audio analyzer.\nFamiliarity with communication protocols including USB, UART/USART, I2C, SPI, I2S, PWM, PDM, and Bluetooth.\nFluent Hebrew and English, written and spoken.\nAbility to operate within an AI-driven environment.\nAdvantages\nExperience in multidisciplinary hardware development.\nProgramming and testing experience using C, C++, or C#.\nExperience with PSpice simulations.\nFamiliarity with ATE methodologies and best practices.\nManual soldering skills.\nStrong problem-solving abilities, self-learning skills, and a collaborative team-player mindset.\nCardo Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
