Exact start and finish times will be discussed and agreed with the Home Manager to support the needs of the home while taking your availability into consideration\nCome and join our team at Kenwith Castle, a 54 bed residential and dementia care home in Bideford.\nYou’ll be able to support our residents in a safe and caring environment where they can live their lives as if in the comfort of their own home.\nKey Responsibilities:\n Managing the daily delivery of all housekeeping and laundry services including supervision of the housekeeping and laundry team.\nEnsuring that cleaning, laundry and domestic equipment is maintained by staff in accordance with manufacturing instructions and health & safety guidelines.\nAll minor faults and repairs are reported promptly and recorded.\nEnsuring that rooms for viewing are presented to a high standard.\nPreparing schedules which identify and allocate responsibility for daily, weekly, monthly, annual and cyclical cleaning / maintenance tasks.\nOrdering stock of cleaning products and PPE including ensuring all First Aid boxes are appropriately stocked and sited in accessible areas in the event of an emergency.\nWho we are looking for:\nPrevious experience within a care home setting is not essential - but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!\nA real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.\nFlexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of a larger housekeeping team.\nYour Rewards and Benefits\nAt Care South, we really value all our staff, whatever the role.
