You'll lead CareChoice's quality, compliance, risk, governance, clinical governance and continuous improvement functions, helping ensure the services we provide remain safe, effective, person-centred and fully compliant.\nWorking closely with operational leaders and executives, you'll oversee quality systems, governance frameworks, safeguarding activities, audit programs and regulatory obligations while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.\nAbout the Role\nReporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you'll work across every part of the business to strengthen quality outcomes, manage risk and support operational excellence.\nThis is a highly visible role where you'll influence organisational decision-making, support leaders to navigate complex regulatory requirements and help drive a culture focused on quality, safety and continuous improvement.\nNo two days will look the same. You might be preparing for an external audit, analysing organisational risk trends, supporting responses to incidents and complaints, reviewing clinical governance outcomes, presenting governance reports to senior leaders or leading a business-wide quality improvement initiative.\nYour role will include:\nleading CareChoice's quality, compliance, governance and clinical governance frameworks\nmanaging internal and external audits, accreditation and certification activities\noverseeing compliance obligations and providing expert advice to leaders across the organisation\nmonitoring emerging risks and supporting the implementation of effective controls\ncoordinating quality, risk and compliance reporting to governance committees and executive forums\nsupporting safeguarding, client protection and service quality systems\npartnering with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities and reduce systemic risk\nsupporting investigations, complaints management and organisational responses to serious incidents\ndriving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality outcomes and organisational performance\nbuilding capability across the business in governance, compliance, risk management and quality practices\nleading and developing a specialist quality and compliance team\nAbout You\nYou're likely to be a Quality Manager, Compliance Manager, Governance Manager, Risk Manager or similar professional who is comfortable operating in a complex and highly regulated environment.\nYou understand that quality and compliance aren't just about meeting standards. You're able to translate regulatory requirements into practical outcomes, influence stakeholders and help leaders make informed decisions that strengthen both compliance and service quality.\nYou'll bring:\nsignificant experience leading quality, compliance, governance, risk or clinical governance functions\nstrong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks\nexperience managing accreditation, certification and audit programs\nexperience developing and embedding quality management systems and continuous improvement frameworks\nexperience preparing governance reports and presenting to executive and committee forums\nstrong stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing capability\nhighly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills\nthe ability to balance operational realities, organisational priorities and compliance obligations\na practical, solutions-focused and continuous improvement mindset\nRelevant tertiary qualifications in quality, governance, risk, health, human services, business or a related discipline are essential.\nExperience within disability, community services, aged care, healthcare or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.\nWhy CareChoice?\nAt CareChoice, our work makes a genuine difference in people's lives.\nWe support people with disability to live as independently as possible and to have choice and control over their lives.
