The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, greeting them with warmth and professionalism, determining their needs, and directing them accordingly.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nGreet and assist patients in a welcoming and professional manner.\nNEW PATIENT REGISTRATION\nColleting parents full name, address & DOB\nCollecting patients full name, address & DOB\nContact information \nInsurance information \nDemographics\nCHECK IN PATIENTS\nVerify and update insurance and demographic information\nEnsure that all required forms are completed.\nCollect and process copays and outstanding balances.\nSCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS\nAnswer multi line phone calls professionally \nFollow practice guidelines\nConfirm patient identity using account details and DOB.\nVerify patient contact information\nEnsure efficient use of provider schedules and appointment slots\nCHECK OUT PATIENTS\nAccept appropriate payments and process charges \nSchedule follow appointment per provider recommendations\nPerform the above functions on a rotational basis with coworkers\nAssist other personnel at times of high volume\nThis position requires travel to the Beavercreek, Centerville, and Englewood office locations based on the staffing and operational needs of the practice\n\nOther Requirements:\nMaintain HIPAA compliance and patient privacy when verifying patient information\nPromote adherence to company policies and procedures\nWork well independently, and in a team environment\nMaintain positive and professional working relationships with co-workers\nDependable and on time\n\nEducation, Experience and Abilities:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\n1+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare facility is preferred\nExperience with Electronic Medical Record software preferred\nExperience with EPIC is a plus\nMust be customer-focused and possess strong oral communication and telephone skills\nProficient in computerized systems including Microsoft Suite\nAbility to work well in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment while maintaining the quality of work\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\n\nHours and Work Schedule:\nPart-time position; Monday through Friday. \nStandard work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.\nYour home office will be Beavercreek, OH.\nThis is a floating position. You will provide coverage at the Beavercreek, Englewood, and Centerville offices based on staffing and operational needs.
