This full-time contractor will help facilitate the collection, packaging, and transport of blood samples for CareDx diagnostic tests and ensure that those samples are properly prepared for secure return shipment to the CareDx central laboratory for analysis.\nThe Mobile Phlebotomy & Logistics Specialist will collaborate with center personnel and internal CareDx departments, ensuring seamless support of clinical workflows and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nMobile Phlebotomy Services\nPerform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures according to CareDx protocols and industry best practices.\nVerify patient identity and ensure accurate completion of required documentation.\nReview test requisitions and collection requirements prior to specimen collection.\nLabel, package, and prepare specimens for transport according to established procedures.\nMaintain specimen integrity through proper handling, storage, and transportation practices.\nEducate patients regarding specimen collection procedures and answer routine questions.\nProvide compassionate, professional service that supports a positive patient experience.\nIdentify and escalate collection issues, patient concerns, or specimen quality risks.\nCourier and Logistics Support\nTransport biological specimens, testing kits, supplies, and documentation between collection sites, laboratories, shipping facilities, and designated locations.\nEnsure all specimens are delivered within required timeframes and temperature requirements.\nMaintain chain-of-custody documentation and transportation records.\nCoordinate specimen drop-offs with laboratories, processing facilities, and shipping partners.\nQuality and Compliance\nFollow all HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.\nAdhere to all CareDx policies, procedures, and quality requirements.\nComplete required documentation accurately and timely.\nParticipate in training, competency assessments, and continuing education activities.\nReport specimen collection, transportation, safety, or quality issues promptly.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nCompletion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.\nCurrent Phlebotomy Certification (CPT, PBT, or equivalent) preferred.\nMinimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\nReliable personal transportation.\nAbility to travel extensively within assigned geographic territory.\nStrong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.\nBasic computer and mobile technology proficiency.\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively.\nAdditional Details: \nEvery individual at CareDx has a direct impact on our collective mission to improve the lives of organ transplant patients worldwide.
