Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing customer experience, or reimagining internal systems - we want people who can make Careem work smarter and move faster.\nAbout The Role\nWe are looking for a strategic, analytical, and execution-driven Product Operations Manager to lead the team responsible for optimizing the Careem Quik in-app shopping experience.\nSitting within the Merchandising function, this role bridges the gap between Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, ensuring seamless execution, continuous product improvement, and strong in-app performance.\nYou will lead a team of Product Operations Specialists while driving initiatives to improve customer engagement, conversion, operational efficiency, and product innovation.\nWhat You'll Do\nDrive In-App Performance & Optimization\nOwn and optimize key in-app engagement and conversion metrics, including CTR, Add-to-Basket Rate, and conversion.\nAnalyze customer behavior and user funnel to identify opportunities to improve product discovery, engagement, and conversion.\nDrive continuous improvements through data-driven insights, A/B testing, and experimentation.\nPartner with Product on Roadmap & Feature Launches\nAct as the key operational partner to Product and Engineering, translating business needs into product requirements and enhancements.\nContribute to product roadmap planning and prioritization, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and customer needs.\nOwn business-side testing, launch readiness, rollout execution, and post-launch performance monitoring for new features.\nEstablish feedback loops to identify product gaps, resolve issues, and continuously improve the customer experience.\nLead Operational Excellence & Process Improvement\nIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve execution efficiency.\nDevelop scalable processes, quality assurance frameworks, and operational standards to ensure consistent execution.\nProactively resolve operational bottlenecks and drive improvements in internal tools and systems.\nChampion AI & Innovation\nLead AI adoption within Merchandising, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity, analytics, and operational efficiency.\nImplement AI-powered tools and automation across day-to-day workflows.\nFoster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.\nLead Team & Cross-Functional Execution\nManage, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product Operations team, driving accountability and operational excellence.\nOversee day-to-day execution, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.\nCollaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Commercial teams to drive cross-functional initiatives.\nCommunicate performance insights, operational priorities, and project progress to stakeholders and leadership.\nWhat You'll Need\nExperience: 5+ years in Product Operations, E-commerce, Growth, or related roles, preferably within quick commerce, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses.\nLeadership: 1-2+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.\nProduct Collaboration: Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams on feature development, testing, launches, and product improvements.\nAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in funnel analysis, conversion optimization, and A/B testing.\n Technical Skills: SQL proficiency is essential, alongside experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and project management tools (Jira, Trello).\nAI & Automation: Hands-on experience or strong interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve processes, productivity, and decision-making.\nStakeholder Management: Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nMindset: Highly organized, proactive, customer-centric, and comfortable managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.\nWhat we’ll provide you\nWe offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
