experiences.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Design, develop and maintain responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React and TypeScript.\n\n Translate UX/UI designs, wireframes and product requirements into functional frontend solutions.\n\n Build reusable components and maintainable frontend architecture.\n\n Develop and integrate frontend applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.\n\n Write clean, efficient, type-safe and maintainable TypeScript code.\n\n Optimise application performance, responsiveness and loading times.\n\n Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent functionality across supported devices.\n\n Implement accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive digital experiences.\n\n Conduct unit, integration and end-to-end testing to maintain application quality.\n\n Identify, troubleshoot and resolve frontend defects and performance issues.\n\n Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.\n\n Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, product managers and quality assurance teams.\n\n Apply appropriate security practices when handling user input, application data and API interactions.\n\n Monitor frontend performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and technical discussions.\n\n Stay informed about emerging frontend technologies, frameworks and industry best practices.\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nFrontend Development — Core Requirements\n\n React: Component-based development, reusable components, hooks and application architecture.\n\n TypeScript: Strong typing, interfaces, type definitions and type-safe application development.\n\n JavaScript (ES6+): Modern JavaScript syntax, asynchronous programming and promises.\n\n HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design principles.\n\n State management and frontend data-handling patterns.\n\n Component lifecycle, rendering optimisation and frontend performance.\n\nAPI Integration\n\n RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling.\n\n Authentication, authorisation and secure client-server communication.\n\n Error handling, loading states and data validation.\n\n Integration of frontend components with backend services.\n\nTesting and Quality Assurance\n\n Unit testing and integration testing.\n\n Testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, performance.\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\nMinimum Qualifications and Experience\n\n A degree, diploma or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.\n\n Proven experience developing and maintaining modern web applications.\n\n Strong, hands-on proficiency in React and TypeScript.\n\n Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and type-safe application development.\n\n Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design.\n\n Experience building reusable React components and managing component state.\n\n Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.\n\n Understanding of component-based architecture and modern frontend design patterns.\n\n Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.\n\n Knowledge of frontend testing methodologies and automated testing tools.\n\n Understanding of web performance optimisation, browser
