Creating and managing terminology, valid data and values.\nDefining and implementing data management protocols.\nMentoring and supporting junior members of staff\nMaintaining business glossary; recording business rules, standards and quality guidelines.\nOwning and managing the data lifecycle.\nIdentifying and resolving market data related issues.\nBecoming the Data Steward of Market Prices and sharing knowledge across the organization.\nAny ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time\n undefined\nAdvanced education in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.\nWell-honed listening skills, allowing you to draw an understanding of internal client needs.\nAt least 9 to 11 years of experience working in Market Data or commodities focused role.\nGood understanding of Energy markets, commodities, and eagerness to get into the details. \nMust be flexible to work across multiple time zones.\nMethodical and organized, creating and maintaining precise and clear documentation and code.\nSelf-organized, creating and maintaining precise and clear documentation, maintaining and developing further the Reference data and business glossary to keep them consistent.\nStrong attention to detail and high degree of problem-solving skills.\nSolid knowledge of data management principles.\n Attention to details, ability to work with minimal supervision and ready to take ownership.\nStrong customer awareness, ability to manage relationships, and deal confidently with senior management and external vendors.\nEffective research, analysis, and communication skills.\nKnowledge of ITIL process is must\nStrong knowledge of SQL.\nExperience of data quality control techniques is an advantage.\nExperience on ZEMA software is a plus.\n\nWho we are\nGlencore is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 commodities.
