You will be working in a highly diverse and fast-paced international environment with the opportunity to help shape Glencore’s compliance programme. You will have frequent interactions with Compliance colleagues across the group as well as with other departments locally and globally.\nThe main tasks and responsibilities include\nConduct Know Your Counterparty (KYC) due diligence on new and existing counterparties.\nCompile and analyse mandatory counterparty information and data.\nPerform screenings and adverse media research, followed by analysis and resolution of results.\nResolve alerts generated by ongoing system controls (e.g., overnight screening, system alerts for sensitive relationships).\nProactively identify red flags or material risks that require escalation and continuous engagement with relationship owners.\nProduce reports on key KYC KPIs.\nCollaborate with the team manager and team members on various Compliance Business Framework Programme projects and inquiries.\nThe ideal candidate\nIs motivated, enthusiastic and a true team player with a high level of trust and integrity.\nIs able to prioritize appropriately and work well under pressure.\nHas a problem-solving mind-set and takes initiative.\nIs a fast learner.\nHas excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nHas strong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nQualifications and requirements\nAcademic degree (or equivalent) in finance, law, or a related field.\nAt least 3 years of relevant working experience (e.g. in compliance, KYC, or related areas).\nInterest in Compliance topics.\nFluent in English (corporate language), any additional language is a benefit, but not essential.\nVery good written and verbal communication skills.\nGood know-how in using IT applications and systems (e.g. MS Office, MS PowerPoint, screening tools, etc.).\nWho we are\nGlencore is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 commodities.
