This role sits within the PR and Communications team, part of the wider Brand and Engagement Division.\nThe Associate, Corporate Communications is responsible for supporting and executing PR and communications campaigns that build awareness and strengthen the reputation of Science Centre Singapore and its group of attractions. The role spans earned media, paid content partnerships, KOL and creator engagement, Linkedin content, internal communications and issues management.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify strong story opportunities and translate them into compelling content for different audiences and platforms.\n[What you will be working on]\nThe Associate, Corporate Communications, will report to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDevelop compelling communications materials, including media releases, media pitches, talking points, FAQs, speeches, corporate content and other communications collateral.\nBuild and maintain relationships with media, KOLs, creators and relevant content partners, identifying opportunities to generate meaningful coverage and engagement.\nPlan and coordinate media and KOL engagements, including previews, visits, interviews and on-site activities.\nSupport paid content partnerships with publishers, media platforms, KOLs and creators, from identifying suitable partners and developing briefs to coordinating content, approvals and campaign delivery.\nDevelop and manage content across corporate communications channels, including LinkedIn, website, eDMs, social media and internal communications.\nWork closely with internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy stories, develop communications angles and ensure timely and consistent messaging across channels.\nMonitor media, social and campaign performance, using analytics and media monitoring tools to evaluate results, identify insights and recommend improvements.\nManage incoming media enquiries and support the development of responses, holding statements, FAQs and other materials for issues and crisis communications.\nSupport the development and maintenance of crisis communications protocols and SOPs.\nWork with agencies, partners and vendors to ensure communications deliverables are accurate, on-brand, timely and aligned with campaign objectives.\nMaintain a strong understanding of the media, social and digital landscape, identifying emerging trends and opportunities relevant to Science Centre Singapore.\n[What we are looking for]\nWe seek a proactive communications professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in public relations, media relations, marketing communications, corporate communications, or journalism.\nThe ideal candidate should have:\nStrong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for media, corporate, digital and social platforms.\nStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across internal teams, agencies, media and external partners.\nA good understanding of Singapore’s media and digital landscape, with existing media and/or KOL relationships being an advantage.\nExperience or familiarity with paid publisher, content creator or influencer partnerships.\nWorking knowledge of social media platforms, content management systems, media monitoring and analytics tools.\nFamiliarity with generative AI tools and an understanding of how they can be used responsibly to support communications work.\nWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.\nStrong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nGood judgement, attention to detail and the ability to identify potential communications issues and opportunities.\nFlexibility to support events and media engagements outside regular working hours when required.\nExperience managing LinkedIn and website content would be an advantage.\nAdditional language proficiency is an advantage.\nCandidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered as a Senior Associate.\nOnly
