Deputy Principal/Senior/Executive/Engineer (Tuas South Incineration Plant)
[What the role is]
You will work as an Engineer in Tuas South Incineration Plant to maintain the building facilities.[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead a group of technical officers to oversee the general maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and cleaning of the facility
Manage security and fire fighting system within the premises
Lead and coordinate review on Workplace Safety and Health issues
Call and administer tenders/contract related to facilities management, building maintenance and safety, while ensuring compliance with NEA procurement guidelines and IM requirements.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned
[What we are looking for]
Job Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Experience in government procurement and contract administration, including drafting of tender documents will be an added advantage.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lead, interact and foster teamwork
Good problem-solving, writing, communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in using IT equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office, etc.
