Manager/Senior Manager, Physical Activity – Programmes, Ecosystem and Partnerships (2 years contract)

You will be part of HPB’s Physical Activity Department, within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, dedicated to making active living a cornerstone of daily life. The department works across government, healthcare, community and industry to connect residents to the right physical activity opportunities and support them in building sustainable habits. Through shared journeys, coordinated programming and trusted partnerships, it seeks to make the physical activity ecosystem simpler to navigate, more inclusive and better aligned to residents’ needs. Evidence, data insights and technology are used to guide decisions, personalise support, strengthen delivery and improve outcomes across partners.

[What you will be working on]

As Manager/Senior Manager, Physical Activity Ecosystem Partnerships, you will support and coordinate relationships across government, healthcare, community, industry and technology partners to advance shared physical activity priorities. You will plan and facilitate ecosystem-wide conversations, understand differing perspectives and translate areas of alignment into practical roles, workplans, commitments and follow-up actions. Working with internal and external teams, you will contribute to resident physical activity journeys, referral pathways and complementary programmes that make opportunities more accessible, inclusive and easier to navigate. You will analyse population and programme data, research and stakeholder feedback to identify needs and gaps, develop evidence-based recommendations and monitor agreed outcomes. You will also work with product, digital, IT, analytics and vendor teams to translate programme and user needs into business, technology and data requirements, while supporting implementation, adoption and the management of dependencies and risks.

[What we are looking for]

Join us if you are a collaborative and outcome-oriented stakeholder manager who can work effectively in a matrixed environment. You should also possess:

• A degree in public health, health promotion, health sciences business, social sciences, service design, information systems or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in areas such as physical activity, healthcare, community development, partnership management, programme development or digital products.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, understand competing perspectives and work towards shared outcomes without formal authority.
• Experience facilitating multi-party discussions, framing complex issues and translating strategic conversations into clear decisions, actions, workplans and deliverables.
• An analytical, data-driven and resident-centred approach, with the ability to combine quantitative and qualitative insights to shape journeys, programmes and recommendations.
• Comfort working with product, digital, IT, analytics and vendor teams to define requirements, assess trade-offs and support practical technology solutions, while managing interdependent work, risks and priorities.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
