We thrive on teamwork, and form cross functional teams of product managers, designers and engineers who work hand in hand to develop solutions for our organisation and customers.\n[What you will be working on]\nThe Platform Engineer develops, administers, supports, improves and optimises platforms that support the application development lifecycle and have the relevant knowledge and experience in the various automation tools for developing DevSecOps pipeline (CI/CD).\nHe/She works with developers and Product teams on code releases and support the team by providing recommendations to improve software development & deployment through process re-engineering, scripting & automation.\nHe/She is curious, has a thirst for continuous learning and is eager to work as part of a team to develop and optimise platforms. He/She is personable and interacts and communicates his/her views to others in the team with ease. \nKey responsibilities will include:\nIdentify, develop, implement, maintain, administer, support and improve IT infrastructure and CI/CD platform that are used to support application development lifecycle. \nCollaborate with the Product Team to onboard new product to the platform and to improve the existing application development process. \nCollaborate with Infosec Team on implementing security best practices on the applications, IT infrastructure and CI/CD platform. \nCollaborate internally within DevSecOps Team as well as with other teams to improve IT infrastructure, CI/CD platform and processes used for application development lifecycle. \nOwn, recover and improve from incidents. \nManage procurement, from issuing requirements until award. \nManage implementation projects outsourced to external vendors. \nDevelop policies, procedures and tools that manage changes to IT infrastructure and CI/CD platform. \nShare the knowledge and know-how to others; work with other team members to adopt and improve DevOps culture. \nManage and provision hosting environments through code and implement tools to do so. \n[What we are looking for]\nTo meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting the following tools: \nOperating system: Linux (Redhat/Ubuntu) and MS Windows \n\nScripting: Bash and PowerShell with python(optional)\n\nRepository and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery: GitLab, MS VSTS, Git \n\nTesting tool: Playwright \n\nContainer/Container Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS and Helm Charts \n\nLogging/Telemetry: Elastic and OTEL \n\nVisualisations: Kibana\n\nSecurity: Sonarqube, Gitlab SEP (Scan Execution Policy) and PEP (Pipeline Execution Policy).\n\nInfrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform\n\nDatabase: Redis, MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL\n\nCloud: AWS \n\nKnowledge in networking protocols and services (e.g. SFTP, DHCP, VLANs, routing, load balancer, etc) with hands-on experience troubleshooting network issues. \nHands-on experience with application development using agile methodology. \nExperience in deploying micro-service application.\nExperience in Incident , Change , inventory and security and patch management. \nKnowledge in using AI code assistant, deploying gen AI capabilities (AIOps) or operating/managing AI agents.\nStrong interest, curiosity and ambition to embrace agentic capabilities for infrastructure and cloud operations.\nKnowledge of various open source technologies. \nGood team player and communicator, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities \nBackground in Computer Engineering/Computer Science preferred, candidate who demonstrate strong relevant experience and skill sets will be considered. \nCertifications in the above-mentioned tools on point 1, DevOps and/or
