the role is]\nDrive the development and implementation of enterprise-wide data governance policies, frameworks and practices to ensure that data is managed securely and effectively as a strategic advice and guidance to business units and project teams on data governance, data management and responsible data use.\n[What we are looking for]\nDegree in Data or Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, data protection, data security or related areas, preferably with experience driving cross-functional initiatives.\nGood understanding of data governance principles and practices, including data stewardship, data quality, classification, sharing, access controls and lifecycle management.\nKnowledge of public-sector data governance and security requirements, or experience working in a regulated environment, would be an advantage.\nKnowledge of personal data protection requirements and responsible data use.\nUnderstanding of how data policies and controls relate to ICT systems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, analytics and AI initiatives.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance operational needs, data value, security and compliance considerations.\nStrong stakeholder-management and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex requirements clearly and influence stakeholders at different levels.\nResourceful, self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across
