Exercises independent judgment in supervising daily operations, managing complex solicitations, overseeing pre- and post-award activities and ensuring strict compliance with City Code, policies, and state/federal laws while upholding core principles of ethics, transparency and accountability.\nThe Procurement Supervisor fosters responsive customer service, collaborates closely with City departments and vendors, and leverages e-Procurement and ERP systems (such as OpenGov and Workday preferred) to streamline workflows. Performance is evaluated through periodic conferences, reviews, and reports.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related business field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the procurement and contracting of goods, services, construction, and/or professional services. This experience must include at least two (2) years of procurement supervisory experience and two (2) years of governmental procurement experience.\nMust possess at least one (1) of the following professional procurement certification:\nNIGP Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP)\nCertified Public Purchasing Buyer (CPPB)\nCertified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO)\nCertified Purchasing Manager (CPM)\nCertified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)\nImportant: To be eligible to proceed forward in the application process, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed in the position description.
