Applies adult learning theories and learning styles to promote learner success and instructional effectiveness. Delivers online, classroom, and/or field-based skills training and may provide technical assistance in a specialty area. Uses a variety of instructional media to present course material and may assist in developing or updating curriculum content to meet learner needs. Collaborates with the Code Enforcement team and ITSI customers to deliver training and support the development of TEEX courses.\nThis position reports to the Associate Division Director.\nQualifications of the Role\nHigh School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nFour years of experience in code enforcement.\nOne year of adult education and/or training.\nMust have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.\nCode Enforcement Officer License with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation\nEquivalency:Will consider two years of related experience (as listed above) with an Associate’s Degree in an applicable field from an accredited college or university, or a Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field from an accredited college or university with no prior related experience.
