The role manages an impressive suite of established programs with the opportunity to bring in new business innovationand enjoys a warm/open door reception from prospective clients, due to the reputation and well-regarded brand of the organisation.\nReporting to the General Manager of Partnerships and Development the Business Development Manager will play a key role in contributing to the success of the organisation to deliver growth opportunities across the Northern Territory contracts. The role is ideally suited to an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong network and a passion for people, the community and for exceeding customer expectations. \nYour key objectives will include:\nAchieve new business, renewal and surplus financial targets\nRetain/renew and grow existing NT focused contracts\nIdentify and secure new business development growth opportunities in the Northern Territory to include in Industry, Defence, Government and Education and Training sectors\nLead tenders and proposals for all NT new business\nWork within and abide by CareFlight's Integrated Management System (IMS) framework and the associated policies, procedures and standards along with undertake any required IMS training.\nTo be successful in this role you will have the following:\nA proven track record of account/contract management and selling services in the B2B and B2G markets\nA proven track record in business development and achieving financial KPI targets\nStrategic selling skills, geared to converting ideal opportunities into wins\nDemonstrates initiative, takes responsibility and is action orientated\nExperience developing proposal and tender documentation, using advanced writing skills, financial analysis/excel skills, presentation development and delivery\nHighly developed interpersonal skills and a customer-focused orientation\nProactive self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and willingness to travel as needed\nCritical judgment, adaptability and flexibility.\nThe following will be highly regarded:\nExperience in sales and/or account management in Health, Medical and/or Aviation sectors\nPossesses an established network of government and industry relationships in the Northern Territory\nA team player who can work successfully in a multi-disciplinary environment and who can collaborate with all internal stakeholders in order to write, develop and submit approved proposals / tenders\nA creative / innovative approach\nKnowledge of aviation and / or medical operations is highly desirable.\nHow to apply\nIf you would like to be part of our team, you can apply using the link below.
