Clerk will be responsible for, but not limited to:\nProcess all cash payments received, in priority order, on a daily basis at the direction of management\nResearching and resolving unapplied payments, NSF checks and credit card declines\nInput all payments efficiently and accurately into Rescot/Accpac\nUpdate the monthly spreadsheet with lockbox data -all sites\nScan and post any checks received to our office thru the bank scanner and adds to scan folder\nOn a monthly basis, process and posts all monthly credit card payments all sites(recurring and single payments)\nProvide prompt resolution to customer inquiries by providing appropriate and accurate information\nEnsure all payments and batches are posted prior to the billing cycle close for all sites (excluding PA & DSP)\nOn a bi-weekly basis, review and apply all adjustments to accounts in Rescot and ACCPAC\nPerform monthly reconciliation of all cash, complete with lockbox totals and cash receipt journals\nOn a monthly basis, assist Staff Account with cash reconciliation to bank statements\nMaintains and fosters positive work environment\nCommunicates effectively with all company personnel.\nPosition Requirements:\nPrior collection experience.\nMust be able to maintain high customer contact relating to delinquent accounts.\nMust be able to multi-task, and have excellent follow-up and organizational skills.\nProficient in MS Excel and Word.\n1 year of experience Medical Billing\nExcellent Verbal Communication and Customer Service Skills\nExperience with Medical billing, some knowledge with Medicaid and Medicare Billing as well as second
