Assistant will be responsible for:\nProvide resident supervision, including special staffing, lobby, smoking, patio, and dining room.\nMonitor attendance at assigned activities and maximize participation through appropriate motivational techniques.\nPerform restorative and rehabilitative procedures, as instructed.\nSupervise residents in performance of activities of adult daily living, such as daily dental mouth care, bathing, hair care, and nail care.\nVisually and audibly observe and report on resident’s physical and psychiatric conditions, reporting significant changes to the Nurse Manager and Therapeutic Supervisor.\nAssist resident with the shaping of new behaviors by providing timely feedback.\nEncourage interaction and socialization with staff and peers, while acting as a role model.\nParticipate in the development of a plan of care for each resident.\nImplement individualized behavioral goals outlined in Care Plan.\nAssist in the development of individualized behavioral protocols.\nDemonstrate knowledge of crisis management techniques through training and certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention).\nRespond to behavioral codes, providing early intervention and de-escalation of situation.\nParticipate in in-service education, as provided by facility.\nAccompany residents to community appointments, assuring safety at all times.\nTransport residents in facility vehicles, as directed.\nPosition Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree in Mental Health or related field, preferred\n1+ year of direct health care experience\nCurrent CNA license, a plus\nValid Driver's
