The Operations Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is accountable for leading the Personal Support and Nursing Management team in the region. The salary range is $89,505.00 to $110,994.00, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.\nWhat The Role Involves\nBuilding and coaching your team:\nApplying your leadership skills to provide training, supervision, and coaching to evaluate members of the Personal Support and Nurse Management Teams.\nAssisting Management with recruitment efforts.\nIdentifying and conducting training and development opportunities to enable members of the management team and support staff to attain program goals.\nSupporting with managing front line staff performance issues, coaching and development.\nDeveloping consistent workflow routines to support patient service satisfaction. \nMonitoring quality and compliance:\nReviewing service audits and administrative procedures in order to make improvement recommendations.\nEnsuring that service standards and procedures for client services are met through supervision and Quality Management (QM) and Risk Management policies and practices.\nMonitoring compliance with employment legislation, OH&S policies and practices, service contracts, ESA, Ontario 2000 and the Collective Agreement (if applicable).\nSupporting Health and safety:\nReviewing Supervisor Accident Investigation Reports (SAIR) for accuracy, trends, and risk and training issues.\nAssisting Managers in facilitating modified work opportunities.\nIn consultation with the Corporate OH&S department, implements preventative Health and Safety programs.\nRepresenting your branch:\nActively participates on internal and external committees and in community functions (i.e. community advisory committees/boards, workshops, job/health fairs, provider meetings)\nCommunicating and liaising with major purchasers/funders and other community agencies to discuss their satisfaction with service delivery, any concerns and case management issues.\nWhat You Bring\nRegistered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma \nCurrent College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing\nDiploma or Degree in a Health Care or Human Resources related field \nMembership with a Regulated Health Professional/Regulatory Body is an asset\n3-6 years of previous leadership experience and a proven track record of coaching and supporting teams\nA strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients\nExceptional interpersonal skills and people management skills\nExcellent communication skills including verbal and written skills\nProven computer skills, including e-mail, MS Word and Outlook, work scheduling systems\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nCase management skills are an asset\nA strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients\nExceptional interpersonal skills\nA valid Driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle\nExcellent English verbal and written communication skills\nCurrent immunization record\nTo protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check\nCarePartners In Your Community\nIn addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
