This position has a strong focus in customer service and provides intake and scheduling expertise within an integrated client focused service delivery model. The salary range is $55,789.50 to $71,194.50, and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.\nWhat The Role Involves\nWorks closely with the Director, Operations Manager and branch to effectively build and maintain a master schedule for front line healthcare workers\nParticipates in hiring and orientation of new Team Coordinators to ensure ongoing staff training and development opportunities are met.\nMonitors and ensures standard scheduling procedures to promote quality service and control costs.\nMonitors the schedule of Team Coordinators and adjust when necessary to ensure that there is an even distribution of workload among the team.\nActs as a super-user, trains and coaches others in the use of the automated information & scheduling system (PROCURA), and Workflow\nSupports the team through effective problem solving of conflicts/issues with regards to challenging scheduling cases or hard-to-service areas for scheduling.\nFacilitates a team approach where problem solving and solutions are encouraged and identifies and removes barriers to the effectiveness of the team.\nPromotes a continuous quality improvement approach to customer service.\nResponds to questions and concerns regarding scheduling policies and practices.\nMonitors and compiles statistical information and regularly provides statistical reports to Operations Manager.\nMakes recommendations regarding Community Support Worker (CSW)/ Nursing utilization rates and provides recruitment needs to Operations Manager\nMonitors Team Coordinators compliance with service agreements/contracts and established procedures, practices and the Collective Agreement.\nMonitors monthly financial benchmarks and proceeds with corrective actions.\nHolds team meetings with Team Coordinators and provides additional training on a weekly basis\nIdentifies operational gaps and communicates areas of improvement, makes recommendations on policies and procedures.\nActively participates in internal and external committees and community functions (i.e. workshops, job/health fairs, community boards, participation on focus groups) and is a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee\nPerforms other duties as required\nWhat You Bring\nThe minimum qualifications for this job are one to three (1-3) years of post-secondary education and three to six (3-6) years of job-related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nThorough knowledge of Ontario Health atHome contractual obligations and case management is required.\nAdvanced database & software knowledge and experience is required.\nSupervisory and Customer Service experience is an asset.\nKnowledge of medical terminology is an asset.\nAble to work non-traditional hours\nCarePartners In Your Community\nIn addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners also serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings.
