Summary:\nThe Project Manager III is responsible for managing medium to high complexity projects within programs and high complexity standalone projects.\nEssential Functions:\nResponsible for successful delivery of project\nEnsure project milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the project lifecycle\nAssist with the continuous improvement of project management best practices, processes, and tools\nResponsible for ensuring project closure activities are completed\nLead stakeholders in the refinement of the project charter if applicable\nCollaborate with business owners on the identification and assignment of business resources\nDevelop and maintain project schedule and WBS\nCollaborate with IT point of contact on the identification and assignment of IT resources\nDevelop project resource plan including forecast of EPMO FTEs and contractors\nSchedule project audits and ensure compliance to EPMO Governance audit requirements\nDevelop and maintain project budget if applicable\nCapture and consolidate EPMO, IT and business estimates for the Project\nAssess, manage, and control project scope, schedule, and budget change impacts\nEscalate issues to Business Owner, Program Manager, and EPMO Leadership as applicable\nMaintain project stakeholder matrix\nDrive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areas\nWork with Talent Development and Communications to develop project communication and training plans\nMentor junior Project Manager or Program Coordinators\nSchedule and facilitate project meetings including weekly status meetings and stakeholder meetings\nRepresent project in program meetings or in Portfolio Governance meetings\nCapture and report on meeting notes, decisions, and action items\nAccurately track and report project status against plan to stakeholders at all levels\nTrack, compile and report project metrics and budget\nAdvocate for and adhere to EPMO standards, tools and processes\nImplement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders\nMaintain RAID for project items\nIdentify, log, assign and manage risks and issues\nMaintain project SharePoint site and project document repository\nProduce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notification on assigned projects\nDevelop project operations and support plan\nPerform any other job duties as requested\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required\nMaster’s Degree in related field is preferred\nMinimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience is required\nCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:\nExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.\nExperience working in project management software is required\nDemonstrates excellent analysis and reporting skills\nExcellent decision making/problem solving skills\nExceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills\nExcellent critical listening and thinking skills\nProven ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization of management within and externally to the organization\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nCustomer service oriented\nAbility to proactively, effectively and efficiently lead a project team of 20+ core members and multiple vendors\nExperience managing a project of up to $3.5M in budget\nProven ability to prioritize work and team assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting stakeholders expectations\nDemonstrates a sense of urgency\nExtensive understanding of project management processes, techniques and tools, and development lifecycle (ideally Agile)\nFamiliarity of healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare a plus\nLicensure and Certification:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred\nWorking Conditions:\nGeneral office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time\nHigh potential for remote work\n$94,100.00 - $164,800.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
