This role leads technical solutions, contributes to system architecture, and ensures scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems.\nEssential Functions:\nLead technical design and architecture efforts for scalable, reliable, and high-availability systems.\nLead adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices within the team, establishing effective patterns and mentoring engineers in their use.\nDesign and implement AI-enabled and agentic solutions, including orchestration, integrations, context/retrieval patterns, and human oversight where appropriate.\nEngineer AI solutions for quality, observability, security, reliability, cost/performance, evaluation, and failure handling.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective system and application solutions.\nProvide advanced support and troubleshooting for applications, systems, and infrastructure.\nExecute and oversee performance testing, debugging, and optimization of systems and applications.\nPerform code reviews and enforce development standards, best practices, and coding methodologies.\nLead or support deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of applications and systems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.\nSupport incident management, triage complex issues, and implement timely and effective resolutions.\nApply advanced knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices to deliver high-quality solutions.\nDesign and implement system integrations, including applications, databases, and communication platforms.\nIdentify technical risks and ensure solutions are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with organizational growth.\nProvide input into team objectives and mentor less experienced team members as needed.\nAdopt and effectively utilize agentic AI development tools to accelerate software delivery, improve quality, reduce manual effort, and increase engineering productivity throughout the SDLC.\nContinuously innovate by experimenting with new technologies, challenging existing processes, and creating scalable solutions that improve business value, engineer effectiveness, and customer experience.\nPerform any other job related duties as requested.\n Education and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required\nEquivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education\nFive (5) years of experience in software development, engineering, or related technical field required\nAdvanced experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), system design, and application development required\nExperience designing multi-tier or enterprise-level applications and systems preferred\nExperience in infrastructure, networking, or communication systems preferred\nCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:\nAdvanced proficiency with AI-assisted development tools, including prompt engineering and AI-assisted code review\nUnderstanding of AI/ML integration patterns, including APIs, model consumption, and data pipelines\nStrong knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and software development tools\nAdvanced understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and integration concepts\nExpertise in SDLC methodologies, including Agile and CI/CD practices\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and manage complex technical assignments\nEffective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nAbility to mentor, guide, and influence team members\nAdaptability and continuous learning mindset with evolving technologies\nLicensure and Certification:\nAI/ML or cloud AI certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud AI) preferred\nWorking Conditions:\nGeneral office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time\nTravel is not typically required\n$94,100.00 - $164,800.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
