The dietary supervisor is available to the residents and their families in regards to food preferences and suggestions. Acquaints self with the “likes and dislikes” of the residents.\nWill aid in the supervision of all work areas including preparation, production, stock rooms and the dish room area. Standards of safety and sanitation will be maintained.\nProvide input in menu planning and development.\nParticipate in Performance Improvement by completing PI audits for Chef as assigned.\nAssist with inventories and stock rotation.\nWill assist with performance evaluations for dietary employees. He/She may also assist with disciplinary actions.\nWill have effective communication with the dietitian/diet tech and other facility disciplines to ensure team work and quality patient care.\nWill have at least a high school diploma.
