Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Associate Marketing Manager, Case Ready, supports the execution of marketing strategies and priorities across Case Ready within Cargill Food North America’s Retail channel. In this role, you will partner closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to activate category strategies, advance innovation initiatives, and deliver customer-focused marketing solutions. By applying strong market, customer, and consumer understanding, you will help translate strategic direction into actionable plans that drive business performance and support category growth.\nKey Accountabilities\nLead the execution of the category marketing strategy development for Retail Case Ready in alignment with broader business objectives, providing expertise and using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. \nPartner with cross-functional teams to generate and apply insights on customer needs, customer strategies, market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive dynamics to inform product or category decisions, guide category direction, and support effective priority setting. \nSupport initiatives across innovation, new product development, and co-creation of customer solutions, driving product commercialization and portfolio health through integrated pipeline development, including concept ideation, business assessments, and coordinated project execution. \nPartner with R&D, Business, and other cross-functional teams to help move innovation concepts from ideas through commercialization. \nLead initiatives to improve customer experience for the assigned category by developing and activating differentiated value propositions, while supporting customer engagement plans through crafting compelling selling stories and marketing materials tailored to specific customer needs. \nSupport the development and execution of marketing programs, launches, promotions, and customer-facing materials. \nTrack innovation progress, timelines, and key milestones to ensure initiatives remain aligned with strategic priorities and are delivered on schedule. \nIndependently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. \nOther duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, a related field \nMinimum requirement of 4 years of work experience in a similar role \nExperience translating insights and data into clear recommendations and action plans \nProven experience collaborating cross-functionally \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in food, retail, or consumer-packaged goods marketing \nExperience supporting marketing strategy execution in a cross-functional, matrixed environment \nExperience navigating complex organizational structures and influence without direct authority \nPosition Information\nThis position is located in Wayzata, MN or Wichita, KS.\nThis position is hybrid and requires to be on site and minimum travel based on business need.\nThe expected salary for this position is $97K to $130K. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience.
