We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field. In this role, you will help coordinate plant location, personnel work flow and ergonomics, materials logistics, production process sequence and equipment layouts. (#LI-ES2 )\nKey Accountabilities\nLead or participate in the development of capital project scope, schedule, and budget while following project management deliverables and best practices.\n\nColaborate on manufacturing plant and facilities engineers with facility planning and design.\nResponsible for conducting cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revise operating methods.\nHelp analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems, or the causes of component failures.\nDesign and improve manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, and testing manufactured products to maintain quality.\n\nEstablish methods to maximize use of production facilities and personnel.\nIndependently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience\nMinimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. \nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience leading capital projects\nKnowledge of SAP\nMechanical, Chemical or Ag/Biosystems Engineering degree\nAbility and desire to work hands on in fast paced and technical plant environment\nPosition Information\nPosition is based in NE - BLAIR - 650 INDUSTRIAL PARK DRIVE\nRelocation assistance is provided for this role\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet\nAt Cargill, we care about your safety and want your job search experience to be a positive one.
