You will work in partnership with Cargill’s leadership as trusted internal consultants to set Cargill’s strategic direction and drive sustained, profitable growth in an increasingly dynamic and global Food & Agriculture environment. You will think about how to manage the risks and gather the opportunities presented by the biggest global issues facing the world today - from food security, resource scarcity, and climate change to global trade flows and new technologies. Specific work may include evaluating market entry opportunities, developing new business models, or defining our long-term corporate strategy in response to emerging industry trends.\nKey Accountabilities:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically. Structure complex business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, generate and synthesize findings, and recommend solutions.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leaders.\nDevelop trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different businesses, including senior executives, commercial teams, and functional teams.\nIndependently lead project workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and high-quality outputs.\nCoach and mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development and ensuring productive team dynamics.\nInternship Details:\nInternships are paid and are 10 weeks in duration. \nDay-to-day transportation to and from work (in Wayzata, MN) is the responsibility of the intern. \nAs employees, interns receive access to volunteer and community outreach opportunities and paid time off for volunteer activities. \nThroughout the internship, interns are encouraged to participate in events that will give exposure to leadership, provide development opportunities, and offer the ability to network with cross-functional interns across the U.S. \nCompensation:\nThe expected salary for this position is $145,000 - $165,000.\nJob Location:\nThis position is based in Wayzata, MN \nRequired Qualifications\nRight to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer\nBachelor’s degree from a top-tier university, with academic excellence or equivalent experience.\nPursuing an MBA or relevant Master’s degree with anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.\nExperience in strategy development across growth and transformation topics.\nStrong knowledge of financial modeling and corporate finance.\nMinimum of four years of related work experience.\nAbility to work onsite 4 days a week in Wayzata, MN for the duration of a 10 week internship conducted in the summer of 2027.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2-3+ years experience in top-tier consulting firms and strong performance track-record.\nExperience in the agricultural, food, or commodities sectors
