Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Customer Operations Specialist - ID will support a moderate scale of customer service activities across domestic and export market. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and monitoring shipping and returns, including processing complex orders from customers and resolving order or delivery issues.\nKey Accountabilities\n Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management. \n Inform customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete the sale. \n Execute customer service strategies. \n Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures. \n Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. \n Other duties as assigned \n Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Customer Service/Customer Operations/Supply Chain, or a related field.\nProficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with specific experience in SAP preferred.\nExperience in leveraging AI, digital tools, and automation to improve productivity and ways of working.\nDemonstrates strong integrity, accountability, and professionalism.\nProven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with strong cross-functional collaboration.\nFlexible and responsive in managing urgent business issues, including support outside regular working hours when required.\nStrong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ownership mindset and bias for action.\nDemonstrates a strong customer focus, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive effective solutions.\nExperience in managing teams in a highly dynamic environment would be an advantage.\nEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet\nAt Cargill, we care about your safety and want your job search experience to be a positive one.
