We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.\nJob Purpose and Impact\nThe Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will design, develop and maintain electrical automation and instrumentation control systems or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.\nIn this role, you will plan and direct the daily activities of instrumentation and electrical technicians performing preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance to the asset management program.\nKey Accountabilities\nLead and coordinate the electrical, automation, and instrumentation function, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations\nPlan, coordinate, and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, asset performance, and operational availability\nOversee the operation, maintenance, and improvement of electrical power distribution systems, automation systems, instrumentation, motor control centers, and related utility and safety systems\nContribute to operational and capital project planning, including budgeting, cost estimation, technical design reviews, equipment upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives.\nOversee the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications, operational requirements, and safety standards\nManage spare parts inventory, procurement activities, and contractor services, while collaborating with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, utility providers, engineering partners, and regulatory authorities\nLead and support the development of the electrical and automation team through workforce planning, performance management, training, competency development, and contractor supervision\nContribute to audits, energy management initiatives, facility management activities, and other technical or operational projects that support business objectives.\nPerform other duties as needed\nMake personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary matters for direct reports, while remaining actively involved in the team’s day-to-day work when needed\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field\nExperience working with electrical systems in a production, industrial, construction, or similar technical environment\nAt least one year of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a team\nGerman and English language proficiency at B2 level or above\nExperience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), such as Siemens PCS 7 or comparable systems\nKnowledge of VEFK (Responsible Electrical Person) requirements, with experience in the role or willingness to obtain the required qualification\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing, developing, or implementing electrical systems, including power, lighting, signaling, or comparable systems\nExperience contributing to or leading CAPEX and/or OPEX projects\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems\nKnowledge of electrical drive systems, instrumentation, control systems, and automation engineering\nExperience operating and maintaining medium- and low-voltage systems, transformer installations, and power generation assets, such as CHP plants, or the willingness and ability to develop the required expertise\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
