In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, support equipment upgrades, and assist with programming changes under guidance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with automation, and contributing to equipment reliability and continuous improvement.\nWhat You will Do\nPerform inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automation systems across the facility.\nTroubleshoot moderately complex machinery and automation issues, including motor controls, sensors, and control devices.\nModify and implement programming on computer-controlled systems with guidance.\nSupport reliability improvements and provide feedback on equipment performance and asset health.\nAssist with the design, installation, and upgrade of new or modified equipment and machinery.\nMaintain equipment safety performance and compliance standards while following established maintenance practices.\nWilling to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance notice.\nOther duties as assigned\nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nAbility to understand and communicate in English, verbal and written.\nMinimum one year of experience in industrial electrical automation and mechanical maintenance.\nAble to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPE.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nExperience operating forklifts or similar mobile equipment.\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP.\nExperience with inventory or parts management systems.\nExperience performing maintenance trades such as welding, pipefitting, or fabrication.\nKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, and bearing systems.\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nDevelopment Opportunities\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
