You will apply maintenance and reliability practices to keep equipment safe, reliable, and compliant while supporting production uptime across packaging, processing, utilities, and plant systems.\n.\nWhat You Will Do\n\nPerform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical and \nmechanical plant equipment.\nTroubleshoot basic machinery, automation, PLC/VFD issues, and restore equipment to safe operation.\nModify equipment programming under guidance and document changes per site procedures.\nInspect and maintain packaging, processing, storage, and utility systems to prescribed standards.\nInterpret electrical/mechanical schematics and update maintenance records using CMMS.\nFollow all safety policies and contribute ideas to improve equipment reliability and uptime.\nAbility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n.\nWhat You Will Need\n\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nUnderstand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).\nAbility to use basic computer applications, and update work information in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).\nBring at least 1 year of industrial electrical experience plus exposure to a mechanical maintenance trade.\nAbility to work indoors and outdoors, at heights (4 feet and above) and in confined spaces, performing physical tasks including lifting up to 55 lbs, climbing, bending, and twisting, while wearing required PPE in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F with or without a reasonable accommodation.\n\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\n\nExperience working with PLCs, VFDs, control voltages, and PID loop control systems 480VAC and below), and 24VDC controls.\nExperience applying precision maintenance techniques, such as laser alignment and dial indication.\nPractical experience utilizing maintenance trades, including welding, pipefitting, fabrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics.\nExperience working within established safe work systems, including PJHA, permits to work, and confined space procedures.\nHold trade school certificate or degree in an electrical or mechanical field, or relevant military technical experience.\nExperience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial or scissor lifts.\n.\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nDevelopment Opportunities \n\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
