The role includes a structured two-year training and development program designed to build technical expertise and operational knowledge, with the objective of achieving full autonomy in all assigned food safety, quality and regulatory activities by the end of the program.\nKey Accountabilities\nPerform routine analysis on final and in-process products and ensure that finished products meet required specifications prior to releasing shipments.\nEnter data into databases and communicate results verbally or in writing, resolve problems by examining and evaluating data and select corrective steps.\nAssist with the evaluation and interpretation of highly complex data, identify problems with atypical test results and consult with senior team members as needed.\nSupport trials and experiments under the direction of more senior team members.\nPerform food safety and quality leadership, coaching and mentoring to facility employees.\nBe available for occasional short business trips within Italy and internationally.\nHandle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture\nEnglish proficiency \nItalian proficiency\nPreferred Qualifications\nAvailability to travel to other plants if needed for training purposes\nPostgraduate Master's qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 22000 standards and food safety management systems.\nKnowledge of quality assurance, food safety regulations and continuous improvement methodologies.\nCompensation Information\nThe expected starting salary for this position is 30,000€\nOur Offer\nWe provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
