specifications to determine layouts for industrial electrical equipment installations\nInstall, examine, replace, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components\nTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance\nMaintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors\nMaintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems\nTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related equipment\nPerform preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance records\nTroubleshoot and install fire alarm systems and support construction-related electrical projects\nWork with and maintain Allen-Bradley VFDs and 600-volt distribution systems (MCCs)\nEnsure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations\nMaintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications\nCertified Journeyperson Electrician ticket recognized in Alberta\nThree (3) to five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial environment\nExpertise with Canadian Electrical Code and industrial electrical systems\nExperience troubleshooting and maintaining: Allen-Bradley PLCs and VFDs / Motor Control Centers (MCCs) / 600V electrical distribution systems / Electrical motors and control circuits / Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems / Switchgear and transformers\nExperience with fire alarm installation and troubleshooting\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals\nProficient in electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nPLC programming and troubleshooting experience\nWorking knowledge of automation systems and industrial networks\nRelevant certifications as Industrial Electrician\nRed Seal ticket\nPlease note that this position does not
