This role focuses on learning maintenance skills, completing routine work, and supporting more experienced technicians with frequent guidance\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment with guidance.\nUse basic hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete assigned work safely.\nAssist with troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.\nRead and follow basic work instructions, schematics, manuals, and maintenance procedures.\nDocument completed work, findings, and parts usage in maintenance computer systems.\nFollow safety, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work environment.\nWork flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nAbility to understand and communicate basic maintenance instructions in English(verbal/written).\nBasic experience or exposure in at least one maintenance trade or component, such as mechanical, electrical, lubrication, or welding.\nAbility to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nPrior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment.\nExposure to basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspections, or parts replacement.\nFamiliarity with basic hand tools or power tools.\nTechnical training, certifications, or trade school coursework relevant to industrial maintenance, or related military experience\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nDevelopment Opportunities\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
