We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions.\nAbout the role\nWe are currently recruiting a proactive and motivated Logistics Technician to join our operations team in Liverpool. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient intake, handling and quality assessment of rapeseed deliveries to the site. You will play an important role in ensuring incoming materials meet the required quality standards, maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth running of daily plant operations.\nShift Pattern\n6:30am - 6:30pm, working a rotating weekday shift pattern.\nMonday to Friday only\nNo Nights, weekends or overtime required.\nKey Accountabilities\nSafely manage the intake and unloading of rapeseed deliveries arriving at the site, ensuring compliance with operational and safety procedures.\nCarry out sampling, testing and quality assessments of incoming rapeseed to ensure it meets the required specifications.\nIdentify and reject deliveries that do not meet the required quality standards, following established site procedures.\nAccurately record and maintain testing results, quality analysis and relevant operational documentation.\nComplete loading or unloading inspections, documentation and process quality records both manually and electronically.\nCoordinate and manage the movement of incoming and outgoing loads to support efficient site operations.\nOperate and monitor plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps and other associated material-handling systems.\nConduct routine equipment checks and identify potential operational issues, escalating concerns where necessary.\nDemonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to support the safe and efficient running of daily operations.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues to maintain operational efficiency and high standards of housekeeping.\nDrive semi-trucks to be loaded or offloaded with bulk materials as required by location. \nAdhere to all company health, safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience working within a production, manufacturing or industrial plant environment.\nA valid, externally accredited ITSSAR operator licence \nGCSE qualifications.\nGood understanding of industrial plant equipment, particularly conveyors and material-handling systems.\nStrong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record information and follow quality procedures.\nGood problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and work independently.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.\nDesirable\nPrevious experience in seed intake, grain handling, bulk materials handling or agricultural processing.\nExperience carrying out product sampling, testing or quality inspections.\nExperience operating loading shovels or similar industrial material-handling equipment.\nFamiliarity with working in a fast-paced production or processing environment.\nDriving Licence \nOur Offer\nWe will provide a fast paced stimulating international environment, which will stretch your abilities and channel your talents.
