In this role, you will use maintenance and reliability practices to carry out preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to ensure assets are maintained for optimal facility efficiency.\nPrincipal Accountabilities\nPerform preventive maintenance on production equipment\nRespond to service calls. In addition, the Mechanical Machine Assembler is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of equipment and making sure production starts on time each morning\nComplete certain equipment improvement and replacement projects\nRepair equipment in the workshop, maintain the workshop clean and organized, and complete work orders, requests, and other required documentation\nApply maintenance and reliability best-practices, with some guidance, to ensure all equipment are maintained in good condition while maximizing the service life of equipment\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance throughout the facility/building with limited supervision\nUtilize knowledge and the ability to operate one or two standard maintenance tools, including power tools, basic hand tools, precision maintenance tools, and preventive maintenance technology tools\nDocument completed work and observed conditions, and regularly interact with peers and management to support the continuous improvement of facility operations\nMinimum Qualifications\nLegally eligible to work in Canada\n18 years of age or older\nExperience in a manufacturing environment\nAbility to perform the following physical tasks: bending, squatting, climbing ladders, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, standing for long periods\nBasic computer skills\nAbility to work at heights\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of food industry standards (HACCP)\nAbility to work under pressure and with minimal supervision\nDemonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness, initiative, and
