In this role, you will perform routine preventative maintenance and help troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues under general guidance. This is a great opportunity to build your maintenance skills while contributing to food safety, equipment reliability, and teamsuccess.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production andfacility equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.\nTroubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment runningsafely and efficiently.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and basic precision tools to complete maintenance tasks.\nRead and follow work instructions, schematics, manuals, and safety procedures.\nDocument completed work and equipment conditions using a computerized maintenance system.\nPerform job duties in a fast paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWork overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.\nSupport food safety, housekeeping, and safety standards across the facility.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship\nMust be 18 years or older\nAbility to read, write, and speak English\nSix months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience or educational equivalent or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or related trade\nWillingness to learn and follow safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation\nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nWelding, fabrication, or conveyor system experience.\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).\nWork history in the last 12 months.\nBenefits\nBenefits Are Based on Our Collective Bargaining Agreement\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance\nPaid Vacation and Holidays\n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nDevelopment Opportunities\nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
