In this role, you will perform complex maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues and provide technical guidance to team members. This is a great opportunity to utilize your maintenance skills while contributing to food safety, equipment reliability, and team success.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform complex preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, while coaching others on the team.\nTroubleshoot and resolve critical mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and basic precision tools to complete maintenance tasks.\nModify equipment by reviewing electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints, or manuals.\nDocument completed work and equipment conditions using a computerized maintenance system and advise on opportunities for continuous improvement of facility operations.\nPerform job duties in a fast paced, cold, or warm production setting with required PPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWork overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.\nSupport food safety, housekeeping, and safety standards across the facility.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nWhat You Will Need\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. \nMust be 18 years or older. \nAbility to read, write, and speak English. \nTwo or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience or educational equivalent or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or related trade. \nWillingness to learn and follow safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures. \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. \nWhat Will Put You Ahead\nWelding, fabrication, or conveyor system experience. \nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). \nWork history in the last 12 months. \nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance \nPaid Vacation and Holidays \n401(k) with Cargill Matching Contributions \nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) \nDevelopment Opportunities \nNebraska Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 56 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law. \nAbout Cargill\nCargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
